Target Audience
My target audience would be in the age range 13-35 because my work will be published on social media, and people younger and older than this age group will most likely not see it as they wouldn't be on these platforms. The gender of my target audience wouldn't really matter as there is no specific target towards any gender that would attract a singular group.
My audience would most likely have a particular interest in 3D and 2D, mixed media art which would target towards a broad spectrum of artists however it wouldn't be limited to people with these interests. They would also have to like and appreciate digital art in order to gain anything from viewing my work.
My work is targeted towards 13-35 year olds that are prominent on social media with a particular interest in 3D, 2D and mixed media art. People with a key appreciation for digital art are the ones who are more likely to gain anything from viewing my work so it opens up my audience to a large spectrum of artists however, not limited to artists specifically.

Promotion
This is the promotion segment of my project. I have already specified that my target audience is,
'13-35 year olds that are prominent on social media with a particular interest in 3D, 2D and mixed media art. People with a key appreciation for digital art are the ones who are more likely to gain anything from viewing my work so it opens up my audience to a large spectrum of artists however, not limited to artists specifically.'
Once I had figured out my target audience for my work, I came to the conclusion that Instagram and ArtStation would be suitable platforms for this target. I chose to promote my work on Artstation as the users that use the website are most likely to have an interest in 3D art as that is where a lot of 3D artist promote their work. There is also a label feature on ArtStation which gives you the ability to place your work in whichever category that is relevant. I labelled my work under the Digital 2D, Digital 3D, Mixed Media, Anatomy and Abstract hashtags. I also created a mock-up Instagram post as this is another platform that I would resort to when promoting my work as it reaches a wider demographic and there would be a better chance of reaching my target audience. The Instagram user demographic is very broad and reaches out to a lot of different communities and the minimum age requirement to use Instagram is 13.
Upon analysing this graph I am able to tell that the majority of Instagram users are from ages 13-34, making up 68% of users. Taking this data into consideration, I will be able to reach my desired audience alongside using hashtags to label my work and posts correctly. Hashtags such as 3D, Art, 2D and Digital Art would be suitable to use while promoting my work.
